I painted this in an hour or so last night on a 6''x9'' canvas (I'm guessing by looking) with acrylic. It was SO much fun to do :heart: Scanner ate a lot of the gray tones, though... There was a lot of splatters and stuff that made this look so grungy and GORGEOUS ;___;

I adored The Dark Knight. LOVED it. Gonna see it again. I mean, always loved Heath Ledger, but MY GOD, FAP MATERIAL ANYONE? ...Or is it just me that actually makes a fetish out of the batshit crazy ones?

Just me? Just me.

Anyway, here we go. A nice, artistic piece of the facepaint. Not selling the original, but by all means you can buy prints from me at a pretty decent price that are 12''x18'' standardly :D

A beautifully done tribute to a brilliant actor who, I've already been told, frickin' OWNED this role. I'm seeing the movie as soon as possible, and then I'll probably love this even more!! Gorgeous :love:

This is sincerely gorgeous. It gives a reflection of the Joker's twisted mind because of the grunge, and yet a sad sort of look in his eyes. As if he was asking, "Why me?" And then through all the torture, he has a carved smile, as if the world refuses him to be sad.

Now, I don't know if you meant all that when you painted it, but that's what it looks like to me.

Anyway, Heath Ledger was an amazing Joker and actor. I miss him sorely.

The saddest thing is that my brother who's three years younger than me and less excited about the movie saw it before me.
